THIS TOUR INCLUDES A WALKING GUIDE AND ADMISSION TICKETS TO POMPEII ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE!!

Your driver will be meeting you once you get off the ship, and drive you towards the ruins of Pompei!

The city of Pompei was an ancient Roman city which was mostly destroyed and buried, together with many beautiful surrounding villas, under four meters of ash and pumice during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. Researchers believe that the town was founded in the seventh or sixth century BC by the Oscans. It fell under the domination of Rome by the 4th century BC, and became a Roman colony in the 80 BC. When the Vesuvius’ eruption occurred, 160 years later, its population was estimated to be close to 11 thousand people.
One of our expert English speaking guides will be touring you around the archeological site!

Once the visit is over, you will hop in the van and be driven all the way to Positano, one of the pearls of the Amalfi Coast: you will have time to walk around this charming town, do some shopping and take some wonderful pictures!

You will then proceed with your tour , with short stops at the village of “Praiano” and “Furore”, before you arrive into the town of Amalfi! This town lies right in front of the sea, you will enjoy your time over there and will also be able to taste some limoncello!!

You will return to your ship in Sorrento on time for departure.
